Job Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the trucking and equipment departments with the maintenance program. This will include, but is not limited to, documentation, reporting, and file management.
Responsibilities:
· Create, organize, and process work orders
· Create and maintain vehicle and equipment files
· Operate online maintenance system and schedule all needed maintenance
accordingly
· Ensure that all annual truck and trailer Inspections are completed timely
· Inventory and maintain parts
· Pick up parts as needed
· Schedule instalation of truck/equpment tracking and communications systems
· Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and first aid kits in trucks/equipment
Skills:
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever changing environment
· High attention to detail
· Strong ability to multi-task
· Ability to work well under pressure
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Operate multi-line phone system with professionalism
· Ability to work well under limited supervision
· Willingness to learn (i.e. cross train) and grow within the company
