Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant provides financial support for the company’s accounting department as needed. This is an ENTRY Level position.ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Client invoicing and supporting documentation.Monitors work in process to make sure billing goals are met. Documents and reports aging accounts receivable. May assist with processing of related expenses, accounts payable and calculation of overhead rates. Job costing as well as routine accounting functions.Other accounting tasks and support as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must have good numerical, organizational, and communication skills, as well an enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness to learn.Good Problem solving and critical thinking skillsOrganization, time management and prioritization skillsEffective computer skills to use software in a timely and efficient mannerMust also demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment and follow detailed instruction. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word is required.
