Position Summary
The Business Development Associate (BDA) plays a key role in driving dealership growth by generating qualified leads, setting appointments, and supporting the sales team. This role requires proficiency in customer engagement, CRM management, and dealership-specific sales platforms. The BDA ensures consistent customer outreach, smooth handoffs to sales associates, and contributes to excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Hyundai & Genesis Certification
- Complete and maintain certification in both Hyundai and Genesis sales programs.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, features, and brand initiatives.
Customer Outreach
- Make a minimum of 100 outbound calls daily to prospective and existing customers.
- Send personalized emails and text messages to engage customers and confirm interest.
- Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team to drive showroom traffic.
CRM & Technology Management
- Become an expert in Automotive Mastermind for customer targeting and follow-up strategy.
- Master VinSolutions CRM for accurate lead management, tracking, and transfer of customer information.
- Ensure all leads are properly logged, updated, and assigned for ongoing follow-up.
Sales Team Support
- Conduct warm introductions between prospective customers and sales associates.
- Work closely with sales managers to ensure customer handoffs are seamless.
- Support overall dealership goals by increasing appointment show rates and sales conversions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive sales, business development, or customer service preferred but not necessary.
- Strong phone and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with CRMs (VinSolutions experience a plus).
- Goal-oriented with a focus on hitting daily and monthly metrics.
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Performance Metrics
- 100 outbound calls per day.
