Accounting Clerk – A/R
RCE – Sunrise, FL
Full Time – In Person
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, declined and/or delayed payments and other irregularities
Contact customers to negotiate payment arrangements on delinquent accounts
Communicate account terms and payment programs to customers to resolve past due amounts
Maintain accurate and up to date customer account information and delinquency status
Maintain collection tracking system
Proactively work to collect aging balances
Record all transactions and customer notes in the system
Research and resolve account discrepancies
Respond to all customer and store inquiries/requests in a timely manner
Deposit check payments daily
Charge credit cards when authorized
Basic/Preferred Skills
10 Key typing proficiency
Strong attention to detail
Sense of urgency
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, etc.)
CDK Experience
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and/or job responsibilities.
Ability to be self-motivated, take action, and follow-through
Ability to work independently and/or with a team
