What you'll do
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable financial products and services.
- Utilize your skills in fraud prevention and detection to safeguard customer accounts.
- Assist with loan origination and processing, guiding customers through the application process.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, ensuring all debits and credits are recorded correctly.
- Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication and relationship management.
- Upsell additional banking services that align with customer needs to enhance their overall experience.
- Utilize financial software and retail math skills to support daily operations and reporting.
Basic qualifications
- Proficiency in basic math skills, including cash management and cashiering tasks.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in financial sales or customer service within the banking or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math principles.
- Strong aptitude for customer relationship management and upselling techniques.
- Knowledge of loan processing and origination procedures is a plus.
- Competence in using 10 key typing for efficient transaction processing.
