Key Responsibilities

As an Apartment Service Technician, you will:

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs throughout the community.
• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including make-ready repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on apartments, buildings, and equipment.
• Maintain the appearance of the community, including grounds and common areas.
• Assist with pool operation and maintenance, where applicable.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop.
• Participate in the community's 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with residents and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience with an emphasis on repairs, maintenance, and customer service.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred:

• HVAC or EPA Certification.
• Pool operation and maintenance experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Ability to reach overhead for extended periods.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
