Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting meaningful work in a fast-paced legal environment? We're looking for a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our General Counsel in a diverse and dynamic company with a strong presence in real estate development, construction, and property management (multifamily and storage sectors).
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate, compliance, and corporate law while working closely with an experienced in-house counsel. We're open to candidates with varying levels of experience - the final scope of responsibilities will align with your skill set and background.
What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in supporting the legal department by:

Drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents (contracts, leases, memos, etc.)

Organizing legal records, corporate documents, and contract databases

Tracking deadlines for filings, licenses, renewals, and compliance matters

Supporting real estate and corporate due diligence for acquisitions, financing, and development

Conducting basic legal and factual research

Preparing materials for meetings, closings, and legal proceedings

Coordinating internal document review and communication

Managing calendars, scheduling, and signings for General Counsel

Ensuring confidentiality and professional handling of all legal materials
