Position: Chief Financial Officer

Overview of Job: Seeking a pro-active, financial leader and strategic business partner to join our senior executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for all financial operations for this mid-size diversified corporation, including general accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and internal controls.
Scope & Responsibilities:
• Work with executive team to provide focus and leadership to drive business results and expansion.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assist the management team in evaluating
productivity and profitability of the work. Identify improvement opportunities and assist the management team in executing upon such opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements and reporting package for management.
• Proactively analyze the financial results and business operations to identify key trends and developments.
• Forecast the expected performance and financial results quarterly and annually.
• Review and ensure applications of appropriate internal financial controls.
• Manage and mentor accounting, credit and collections, and HR team members.
• Oversee banking, investment and insurance matters.
• Provide strategic financial input on acquisitions and new business initiatives, as well as new products and revenue sources.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems.
• Advise executive team on corporate financial strategies.
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
This is a hands-on assignment. The CFO will be expected to personally undertake analysis, generate reports, negotiate contracts and prepare financial statements.

• Five years minimum experience in mid- to large-size corporation; media, print, digital, manufacturing experience a plus.
• Background with systems implementation and coordinating with I.T. staff.
• Management experience and ability to motivate staff.
• Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excel power user required.
Salary: $120,000 - $200,000
