Title: Water Softener Filtration Installer: Flexible Schedule, W2 Path Available
Pay: $75.00–$125.00 per hour
Overview
Richmond Water Pros is a new and growing local water filtration company serving the Greater Richmond area. We sell whole-home water softeners and reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homeowners.
We’re looking for a licensed, reliable installer who knows their way around basic plumbing and wants consistent, well-paid work that’s scaling fast.
This starts as contract/part-time work (1–3 installs per week) with a clear path to full-time W2 as our install volume grows. We’re investing heavily in marketing and growing quickly. The right person will have more work than they can handle within a few months. Our goal is to scale to 30–60 installs per month within the next 90 days, and we have a clear path to get there.
What you’d be doing
- Installing whole-home softener and carbon filtration systems (single and dual tank)
- Installing well water systems: iron and sulfur removal, pre-sediment filters, UV
- Installing under-sink RO, both tank and tankless (occasional countertop drilling)
- Mainline tie-ins, drain and brine routing, valve programming, and testing for leaks and regeneration
- Taking before/after photos on every job (simple checklist provided)
- Walking the homeowner through the basics (salt, filters), and cleaning up
- Most installs take 3–4 hours; well systems run longer
What we need
- Active Virginia plumbing license (journeyman or master)
- COI: $1M general liability insurance, or willingness to get it before your first job
- Hands-on softener, filtration or RO install experience
- Your own tools and a reliable truck or vehicle
- Able to lift and move tanks
- Available for jobs with 48–72 hours’ notice
- You show up on time, do clean work, don’t cut corners, and are good with homeowners
What you get
- $300–$750 per install, depending on work needed and experience
- All systems and equipment provided (tools not provided)
- A flexible schedule: take the jobs that fit yours
- A ground-floor spot with a growing company, plus a path to a full-time W2 role
