Base salary: $50,000–$65,000 uncapped commissions

On-target earnings: $150,000 annually at 100% attainment under the written sales compensation plan. Actual earnings depend on results. Plus a $450 gross monthly vehicle allowance covering all business vehicle costs, including fuel.

Build new commercial business for Richmond Security. Sell access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercoms, and high-security lock hardware, along with commercial electronic security service maintenance agreements (SMAs) and managed services that generate recurring monthly revenue (RMR). This role combines prospecting with customer meetings and site visits throughout the Richmond market.

• Win new accounts through consistent prospecting, referrals, networking, and follow-up.
• Conduct discovery meetings and site surveys; coordinate accurate proposals with technical and operations staff.
• Close profitable projects and sell ongoing service agreements and managed services.
• Maintain an active, qualified CRM pipeline and accurate sales forecasts.
• Meet a $1.5 million annual revenue goal while protecting gross margin.
• Provide clear project handoffs and follow through on customer commitments.

• Three or more years of direct integrated security sales experience and documented success winning new commercial customers.
• Strong security product knowledge and the ability to explain solutions to business decision makers.
• Active Virginia DCJS Electronic Security Sales Representative registration.
• Disciplined prospecting, CRM proficiency, and a commitment to excellence in customer service and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for business travel.

Experience selling SMAs, managed services, and recurring revenue is preferred.
