Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws.
- Work with hiring managers to gather job requirements, develop a recruiting plan for each position, and source candidates through a variety of tools and methods.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes for each role.
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives, and maintain up-to-date job descriptions and job postings.
- Draft, extend, and negotiate offers in alignment with company policies.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and candidates during the selection and onboarding process.
- Continuously evaluate and refine recruiting processes to reflect industry best practices, ensuring fairness, inclusivity, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process to uphold our company’s reputation as a “Top Workplace” in Richmond.
- Other recruiting and/or HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.
- 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, primarily focused on technical roles including software engineering, data engineering, IT infrastructure, and other technology-related positions.
- Experience partnering with technical teams and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and corporate IT operations.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the organization, from entry-level to executive.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and make informed decisions.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Hands-on experience using HR software and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
