QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have documented evidence of organizational skills, knowledge, experience, preparation, and aptitudes in the above academic club commensurate with the level of the position.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work with and motivate young people and adults and have no previous discipline or letters of concern.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work with and motivate young people and adults.
- Must be available during the time requirements of the position.
- Certification in CPR and first aid preferred.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Directly responsible for all matters relative to the program
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, administrators, and community members.
- Ensure that the safety and welfare of the students is a top priority in the organization
- Be responsive to instructions and directions of appropriate school administrators.
- Present a professional image and provide a positive role model in terms of personal habits, language, and conduct.
Working Environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
The noise level in the work environment is acceptable to this particular environment. However, the noise level can vary depending upon daily activity but will still remain within the acceptable noise level range. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; stand; sit; talk and hear; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
EVALUATION: The Dean of Students or designee will annually evaluate the performance of the employee.
