WorkEnvironment
This job operates in a post-acute setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility.
This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. Team member is
expected to adhere to facility's no-smoking policy.
- Sets tables in accordance with facility standards
- Understands and presents culinary menu for each meal service, to include chef's special and soup du jour
- Ensures each meal is delivered to customers and meets facility expectations for presentation to customers in
- Knowledge of special diets (CCHO, mechanical soft, allergies) to assist in ensuring appropriate
- Knowledge of customer likes/dislikes; alerts Dining Room Manager of any customer service concerns in a
- Serves food, coffee, water and other beverages; refills beverages, as needed
- Clears tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and
- Assists with cleaning dining room and kitchen area during and after meal service or other events
- Cooperates closely with other teammates to exceed customer's expectations
- Completes customer checks accurately and thoroughly throughout meal service
- Keeps dining room and work area neat and orderly at all times. Follows daily sanitation cleaning schedules
- Keeps coffee pots filled with fresh coffee and coffee station clean at all times
- Attends in-service training sessions, as required

Salary : $30,000 - $50,000
