Box Office Representatives serve as a key point of contact for fans, assisting with ticket purchases, digital ticket access, and general ballpark information to help create a positive guest experience.

This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while selling and distributing tickets for Richmond Flying Squirrels home games and other events. Box Office Representatives serve as a key point of contact for fans, assisting with ticket purchases, digital ticket access, and general ballpark information to help create a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer questions regarding ticket prices, seating locations, game and event schedules, promotions, and ballpark amenities.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests in person and over the phone.
- Assist guests with accessing, managing, and troubleshooting digital tickets and mobile ticketing accounts.
- Process ticket sales and other ticketing transactions through Tickets.com.
- Assist guests with ticketing-related concerns and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of CarMax Park and ticket products to effectively help guests.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, professionalism, and a commitment to creating positive guest experiences.
- Attention to detail and organization, with the ability to accurately process ticket transactions and guest requests.
- Proficiency with computer systems, point-of-sale platforms, and ticketing software; willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Accurate and responsible handling of cash and credit card transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on game and event schedules
