What You’ll Do
As the Director of Day Programs, you’ll:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to Day Program Managers, clinicians, and direct support staff.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary team ensuring that behavioral supports, nursing, therapies, and community integration are delivered with consistency, compassion, and excellence.
- Maintain clinical integrity through regular review of Day Habilitation Plans, documentation, and progress tracking.
- Partner with Quality Assurance, Compliance, and OPWDD to maintain regulatory excellence and readiness.
- Oversee program operations, including enrollment, transportation logistics, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, and clinicians to implement assistive technology and augmentative communication strategies.
- Manage program budgets, ensure billing compliance, and identify new funding and grant opportunities.
- Serve as a key liaison with OPWDD and external partners, representing Richmond in statewide forums and professional networks.
- Lead by example — fostering teamwork, innovation, and a culture that values every person’s contributions.
- A mission-driven leader with deep knowledge of OPWDD regulations and best practices in day habilitation and clinical services.
- Strong supervisory and organizational skills — able to lead diverse teams and manage multiple priorities with ease.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for quality and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in developmental disability services or a related human services field.
- Demonstrated experience managing clinical or program operations within an OPWDD-regulated environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between program sites by vehicle as needed.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
