What You’ll Do
As our Chief Program Officer, you’ll:
Shape the future of our programs — residential, day habilitation, nursing, and community services — ensuring everything we do aligns with our mission, values, and OPWDD standards.
Lead and inspire an amazing team of directors, clinicians, and managers who bring passion to every shift.
Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring OPWDD guidance, emerging best practices, and trends in disability services.
Partner with Quality Improvement & Compliance to keep us certification-ready and audit-strong.
Think big-picture, connecting strategy with everyday operations and ensuring measurable outcomes that matter.
Represent Richmond in statewide forums and advocacy efforts — helping shape a stronger, more inclusive system for everyone.
Who You Are

Experienced in OPWDD-supported programs (ICF, IRA, Day Hab — you know the language).
A mentor at heart, ready to grow and guide talented teams.
Skilled at turning complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.
Comfortable managing big budgets, strategic plans, and change with equal confidence.
An advocate for equity, inclusion, and person-centered practices in everything you do.
What You’ll Bring
MBA in Business Administration required.
At least 5 years in senior management, with 3 years supervising other leaders.
10 years of experience in developmental disabilities or related human services strongly preferred.
Knowledge of OPWDD regulations (Parts 624, 625, 633), Medicaid billing, and compliance expectations.
A valid tri-state driver’s license and access to transportation for site visits.
