POSITION: LIAISON - Attendance
REPORTS TO: Building Level Principal
SUMMARY:
184 Days (7.0 hour work day)
Salary based on Richmond Community Schools Non-Contractual Salary Schedule.
Job is dependent on Title I grant funding
Monitors and manages attendance data as well as student goals and incentives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be present, on time and ready to work.
Work collaboratively with Administration and teachers.
Enter attendance data into Powerschool daily.
Fill out necessary paperwork.
Coordinate attendance information with RCS attendance liaison.
Coordinate and monitor attendance goals for students not meeting building level expectations for attendance.
Create attendance goals and relationships with students not meeting building level expectations for attendance.
Contact families to communicate attendance concerns and goals.
Create and maintain attendance spreadsheets.
Plan and execute attendance incentives.
Employ interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
Perform other duties as assigned by the building level principal.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Have good attendance.
Be dependable.
Possess interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
Must complete training that will be available through online modules or professional development, this training will be provided for your prospective job.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Good oral and written communication skills a must.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must be able to problem solve.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math, pre-algebra and algebra are needed.
