The Richland Hospital, Inc. is currently seeking a Surgical Services Materials Management to join our team of trusted healthcare professionals. This is a full-time Monday – Friday day shift position.
The Surgical Services Materials Management person is a vital role in the department by helping ensure that everything necessary to support patient care is available when needed. Primary responsibilities include managing and maintaining stock of items used in the Surgical Services Department such as surgical items, instruments, implants, and general department supply needs, and coordination with surgical representatives. This will involve close work and coordination with the Central Supply Department. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assisting as needed in the department such as work in the decontamination room, packaging and sterilization of instruments, running autoclaves, preparation of OR rooms, cleaning and mopping after cases, damp dusting, store/retrieve equipment, transporting specimens to lab, assist with patient transfers, and miscellaneous clerical duties.
