What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Custodian position at Richen Management?
Overview
Join our team as a Lead Custodian, where your expertise will shine in maintaining cleanliness at one of our facilities! You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all employees and visitors at a local State Facility.
Schedule will be set for day shifts, 2 days a week, for 4-8 per day.
What you’ll do
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing various areas.
- Oversee or assist in floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, showcasing your cleaning expertise.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong background in commercial and industrial cleaning environments.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in porter duties or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
