We have an opening for a Material Handler (2nd Shift) in our Beaver Dam, WI manufacturing plant.
Essential Functions
- Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
- Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed
- Responsible for complying Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
- Properly put away any warehouse picks
- Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department
- Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift
- The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs
- Positive attendance record
- Safe operation of stand-up fork truck
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Production Staff’s base schedule is Monday – Saturday rotating schedule of five to six days at 10-hour shifts.
Universal Pay Verbiage:
The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $18.32 per hour. This role is also eligible for overtime compensation. Benefits for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, 401K with company match, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.
