We are seeking a Part Time Personal Supports Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
Support a young man in the Towson area with developing independence in his community. Assist with creating a healthy lifestyle through fun and active activities. Provide assistance with developing relationships by planning and assisting with activities with peers.
Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.
This position is:
20 hours/ week
Thursday 4p-8p
Sat 10a-3p (flexible)
The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
- Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
- Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships
- Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, fire drills etc.)
- Other duties as assigned

- Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification

- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Current driver’s license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
- At least 2 years of Driving Experience
- Must be at least 20 years old
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed
