Description

Looking for a full-time opportunity with a schedule that gives you more time back in your week? Join our production team on Swing Shift and enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with three-day weekends every week!

This position works Monday–Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., giving you Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off while still maintaining full-time hours.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Performs repetitive work to support the assembly floor
  • Maintains embroidery machine by continually checking for thread/color balance
  • Ensure that all embroidery orders coincide with customers purchase orders and requests
  • Detect and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the shift supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required by the Facilities Coordinator and Production Manager
  • Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks: hooping, threading the machine, etc.
  • Provide quick and efficient changeovers required as production of product changes
  • Familiarity with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above
  • Willingness to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up
  • Must be able to perform task including: hooping caps onto frame mount, placing mount onto embroidery machine using hands by pushing and adjusting mount onto machines (up to 17) hoops at one time.
  • Thread machine – required to be able to reach above shoulders and adjust tension and threads.
  • Maintenance of machine – ensuring proper lubrication and programming is adjusted per order
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year factory related experience

Job Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Effective communication skills. Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools
  • Flexibility and willingness to rotate lines and jobs within area

Physical Demands

  • Light to moderate physical effort required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Ear protection is optional.

Work Environment

  • Work performed in a temperature regulated production environment.
  • Exposed to light noise, may utilize air pods or hearing protection as desired
