The Level 1 Production Lead assists the Supervisor in daily embroidery production by helping assign work, routing orders, and operating machines such as embroidery, sewing, and heat press equipment. This entry-level leadership role emphasizes quality inspection, maintaining safe work practices, and supporting team efficiency while gaining experience in production coordination.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Must be able to read and interpret product sheets, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages and helps assign production work based on priorities, ship dates, and shipping Methods
- Helps route or close orders
- Ability to operate various machinery within the production department that may include Embroidery machines, sewing machines, heat press, Blocking Etc.
- Helps ensure a “Quality First” mentality when reviewing orders and working with others
- Assists in identifying opportunities to reduce spoilage and improve overall efficiency
- Promotes a culture of Safety and Awareness
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of Richardson’s products
- Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
