- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-2:00am, overtime as needed.
- Starting wage: $21-$25.20 dependent upon experience.
Facility Maintenance technician is responsible for facilitating day-to-day workflow, ensuring that work orders and daily tasks are processed and completed within a timely manner. They will report to the Facility Manager to make sure the building and equipment are kept in good operating standards.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Ensure Equipment/Facility work orders are completed properly and in a timely fashion
- Monitor and maintain cardboard and trash, as well as light janitorial
- Assist Facility Manger in creating/maintaining maintenance training programs and monthly maintenance schedules.
- Construction projects. Building tables for production, running air lines, replacing lights
- Complete regular maintenance tasks quickly and professionally
- Construction projects that include but not limited to: Carpentry, dry wall repair, painting, concrete, low voltage electrical, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication
- Installing and removing equipment, machinery, and light roll conveyors
- Replacing and repairing; bearings, gears, bushings, chains, drive belts, sheaves, pullies, as well as drive motor alignment
- Plan and prepare for upcoming and seasonal projects
- Ability to work off a ladder or lift at heights
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ensure workplace safety standards
Other Duties:
- Monitor and Maintain cleanliness throughout the building
- On-Call for emergencies
- Assist in updating protocols and principles
- Basic computer ability
- Complete any additional tasks requested by Facility Manager, Production Manager, or CEO.
- Basic grounds maintenance and landscaping as required
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Experience
- Maintenance tech certification preferred
- ASAE certification preferred
- HVAC certification
- Ability to read and understand blue prints, electrical schematics, and machine operational manuals
- Safe Lift operation (Pallet Jack, forklift, scissor lift)
- Welding and metal working experience
- Basic plumbing experience
- Understanding of SDS and Hazmat waist containment
- Carpentry tool experience
- Basic understanding of air compressors
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO)
