Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. We are a physician management team that provides staff to several specialties in TD Richardson Memorial including pain management, orthopedics, heart and vein, family care, and wound care. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including expertise in various clinical areas. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse settings. The Staff RN will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Duties
- Rooming of patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR systems including Eclinical Works and SIS.
- Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations (urinary, cardiac), shots, blood draws if necessary, as it relates to your scope of practice.
- Assist with physician led procedures including wound care, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and medical imaging procedures.
- Coordinate case management for diverse patient populations, including post and pre-operative case management
- Educate patients and families on health coaching topics like nutrition, chronic disease management (including diabetes or cardiac conditions), etc
- Ensure infection control practices are followed rigorously to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
- Document all patient interactions accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients across specialties
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Skilled in nursing procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to perform accurate assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Strong critical thinking skills for escalation to treating physician as needed]

Pay: $26.39 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Experience:
- RN: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Arkansas RN license (Required)
