Responsibilities:
Physical Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Provide hands-on electrical support in the areas of process controls, resolving common power system electrical issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis
- Complete regular preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment according to established schedules and procedures
- Use tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLC’s, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulations
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment by running/connecting wires, construction panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E
- Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- 3 years of electrical maintenance experience OR Associate’s Degree or higher in electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation or controls in lieu of experience
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation
- Experience working with 480V systems
