Overview
We are seeking a grounded, emotionally intelligent early childhood homeschool educator to support our 3-year-old twins in a calm, attachment-informed home environment. We might have a learning pod option as well, which would pay you more.
This role is for someone who believes the best learning for toddlers happens through secure attachment, co-regulation, embodied play, rhythm, and meaningful activity. Parents will be home with toddlers and are extremely serious about gentle communication.
Two Position Options Available
Candidates may apply for Option A (Part-Time Educator) or Option B (Full-Time Educator House Manager).
OPTION A: Part-Time Early Childhood Educator (Education-Only Role)
Schedule
- 2 hours per day
- 5 days per week
- Approximately 10 hours/week
Role Focus
- Educational engagement only (no nannying or household management)
- Option to expand into a small learning pod with 1–2 additional children ages 3–4
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Montessori and/or Waldorf-inspired activities using workbooks we provide
- Curate weekly learning rhythms and activities
- Support executive functioning through play and structure
- Foster independence while remaining a secure emotional base
- Model co-regulation during moments of frustration or big feelings
- Support social-emotional development through storytelling, movement, rhythm, and routine
- Maintain a calm, respectful, screen-free learning environment
Ideal For

Compensation
- Competitive $35 to $50 per hour dependent on pod or if you would like to host a pod of a few children, based on experience
- Opportunity to grow into expanded hours, pod leadership and maintain job until end of 2029 or 2030.
OPTION B: Full-Time Educator Nanny Light House Manager
Schedule
- Approximately 40 hours/week
Weekly Breakdown
- ~10 hours educational engagement (2 hours/day)
- ~25 hours nanny engagement (5 hours/day): outdoor play, nature exploration, creative play, no screens
- ~10 hours simple meal prep and family support - we give you the recipes and ingredients and you throw them in the pressure cooker (2 hours/day)
About the Full-Time Role
This position blends developmental education, emotionally attuned caregiving, and simple, nourishing food preparation within a predictable family rhythm.
We provide Montessori and Waldorf activity workbooks. You will curate weekly activities and prepare the environment accordingly.
Daily Rhythm
- 2 hours learning activities
- 5 hours free play, outdoor time, and engagement
- 1 hours simple meal preparation
- 1 hour cleanup and next-day planning
Core Responsibilities
Childcare & Developmental Education (≈35 hours/week)
- Provide consistent, attuned, emotionally responsive care grounded in attachment theory
- Support executive functioning development
- Facilitate Montessori and/or Waldorf-based activities
- Encourage independence while remaining a secure base
- Model co-regulation and emotional literacy
- Maintain a calm, predictable, respectful environment
Light Meals & Family Health Support (≈5 hours/week)
- Prepare simple, nourishing meals using recipes we provide
- Slow cooker or pressure cooker meals (prep only—no complex cooking)
- Simple meat, vegetables, rice, pasta
- Juice raw fruits and roots, prepare bone broth soups
- Collaborate with parents on healthy food rhythms
Required Qualifications (Both Options)
- Proven experience as an early childhood educator, homeschooler, house manager, or similar role
- Working knowledge of attachment-informed caregiving
- Understanding of executive functioning in early childhood
- Montessori and/or Waldorf training strongly preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working in a private home with parents present
- Emotionally mature, grounded, and reliable
- Background check required

- $55,000–$70,000/year, depending on experience
