Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office and shop common spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization.
• Maintain commercial spaces by executing janitorial duties such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, floor care, and window cleaning.
• Execute specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, upholstery care, and floor polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Manage laundry services for linens and clothing as needed, ensuring proper handling and sanitation procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning process.
• Follow safety protocols related to sanitation standards, chemical handling, and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks in hotel settings or large facilities to coordinate cleaning schedules and maintain inventory of supplies.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning is desirable.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures for kitchens, bathrooms, and general areas ensures compliance with health standards.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Previous experience managing laundry services or working within housekeeping management roles is a plus.
