Role Description This full-time, on-site Driver/Warehouse Worker role is based in Ogden. The position involves operating company trucks to transport materials and finished metal products to and from customer sites, suppliers, and job locations in a safe and timely manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, verifying and securing loads, and following all traffic and safety regulations. In the warehouse, the role includes receiving and organizing materials, staging orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping work areas clean and orderly. The Driver/Warehouse Worker will also interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams, providing professional communication and assisting with basic paperwork and delivery documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Truck Driving and safe operation of company Trucks, including adherence to DOT and company safety standards.
- CDL a plus but, not required.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, unloading, and moving materials safely.
- Basic warehouse skills, including order picking, material handling, inventory awareness, and use of common warehouse tools or equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass any required background checks and drug screenings.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions, delivery schedules, and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in transportation, construction, or industrial/warehouse environments is a plus.
