What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service and Order Processing Team Member position at Richards Label Company?
Well established label manufacturing company seeks an organized, computer skilled, friendly person to manage front-office functions. Front-line customer contact requires a friendly, appreciative, helpful attitude and good phone presence. Office tasks include processing and confirming orders, record keeping, and some filing. A team-player, this person should be willing to help-out other employees with work as needed, and able to pick-up simple tasks with ease, while handling routine functions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Mac compatible
- Mastery of the English language, including grammar and spelling proficiency (We won't have you writing essays, but you need to be able to compose an email without sounding like you are txting w/ ur bff, k?)
- Able to read a ruler, including the little lines between the numbers (You can count out loud if you need to.)
- Phone presence that is both confident and grateful
- Organized
- Detail oriented (Go ahead and give that cover letter another once-over ; )
- Good attitude (Can take direction and correction, friendly and helpful, good sense of humor, save the drama)
- Strong work ethic: punctual, honest, efficient without taking risky short-cuts
This position is part-time at our office and manufacturing facility in Fountain Valley, CA. Office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday; part-time hours are flexible within that window, with morning preferred.
