Position Overview:
The Personal Lines Account Manager/Account Executive plays a key role in supporting our clients and strengthening long‑term relationships. This position is responsible for managing day‑to‑day service needs, ensuring policy accuracy, coordinating renewal activities, and delivering a consistent, high‑quality client experience.
- This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and care. Every interaction, whether answering a coverage question, processing a change request, or reviewing a renewal, should reflect our agency’s dedication to excellence and client trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling policy changes, billing questions, and general inquiries.
- Process requests and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage and policy updates.
- Maintain thorough and organized client files within the agency management system.
- Develop and retain business through proactive service and relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures and industry regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support agency growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Personal Lines insurance experience in a customer service or account management role (preferred).
- Property & Casualty Insurance license, preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
