Overview

Founded in Church Point, Louisiana in 1981, Richard's Cajun Foods has proudly manufactured authentically handcrafted, premium smoked sausage, boudin, and traditional Cajun specialties for over 40 years. We are seeking dependable workers to support our growing, fast-paced food processing company. In this role, you will be an essential part of the team keeping traditional recipes alive!
Responsibilities
- Processing: Assist with the preparation, mixing, and grinding of meat according to exact company specifications.
- Line Worker: Efficiently operate and support day-to-day tasks along the sausage and boudin manufacturing lines.
- Packaging: Sort, wrap, case-pack, and properly label finished meat items for warehouse distribution.
- Route Driver: Safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various destinations.
Processing, Line Worker & Packing:
- Prior food manufacturing or processing experience is preferred, but not required—we will train the right candidate!
- Ability to stand for long periods in a chilled food production environment and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and the flexibility to move between different processing areas as needed.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid drivers license or identification card.
- Must have a social security card or birth certificate.
Route Driver:
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations
- Experience driving various types of trucks is preferred, but not required!
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred, but not required!
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid drivers license: chauffeurs license, class B or better.
- Must have a social security card or birth certificate.

Pay: $12.00 - $42.00 per hour
