We are partnering with an innovative manufacturing organization to identify a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their leadership team in Baytown, TX.
This is a newly created leadership role reporting directly to the SVP & General Manager and offers the opportunity to build, shape, and lead the manufacturing engineering function within a growing organization known for innovation, operational excellence, and a strong culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of manufacturing engineers and technical specialists
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HSE teams
- Lead capital projects, process optimization, and manufacturing improvements
- Improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance
- Develop and implement scalable manufacturing processes and best practices
- Mentor and develop engineering talent while helping shape the future of the department
Ideal Background:
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Manufacturing engineering leadership experience
- Strong Lean, Continuous Improvement, and process optimization expertise
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems, implementing change, and driving results
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic environment
