What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Sales Representative position at Richard’s Kitchen Store?
$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:- Follow up with potential customers to showcase and highlight our new products or services
- Go to in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events
- Implement and carry out strategies to acquire new clients in your sales territory
- Commit to staying updated on all services and products, competition, and market conditions to ensure customer needs are met
- Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM
- Must have excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Experience using a CRM is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- You will need 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience
- A bachelor’s degree or high school diploma is preferred
Richard’s Kitchen Store (RKS) is a restaurant supply store in Houma, LA. We have been in business since 1977, primarily focusing on commercial kitchens, including offshore & marine kitchens, restaurants, healthcare, and residential kitchens.
We offer all major cooking brands, refrigeration, food prep, ice-making, and ware-washing equipment. We also stock an abundance of small wares, cutlery, plumbing, janitorial supplies, and miscellaneous front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house needs. We offer additional services, including a repair service and maintenance division, an in-house delivery and installation team, and a consulting and design division.
