Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide customers through their service experience, ensuring their vehicles are serviced efficiently and accurately. You’ll coordinate with technicians to deliver top-quality automotive repairs, recommend additional services, and foster lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently
- Collaborate with technicians to prioritize repairs, diagnose issues using automotive diagnostics tools, and ensure timely completion of work
- Upsell appropriate services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, alignments, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Prepare detailed service writing and auto estimating documentation for each vehicle serviced
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business
- Set and prepare vehicles on lifts for quick and seemles transitions for techs.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignments
- Experience in auto estimating software and service writing is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients via phoen and in person
- Knowledge of auto sales processes and automobile sales strategies is beneficial
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
