Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues by interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
- Repair and maintain various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers and ovens.
- Use mechanical knowledge to disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot complex appliance components
- Conduct field service visits to customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient repairs
- Operate box trucks for service appointments while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips
- Complete detailed service reports documenting work performed and parts used
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, and equipment repair techniques
- Prior experience as a field service roles preferred
- Familiarity with electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting methods
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles safely
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple appointments efficiently
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
