Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid teacher certification as per federal, state, or local regulations, including compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act.
• Prior experience or formal training in working with at-risk students preferred.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in conflict resolution.

• Assists in enforcing school policies regarding student conduct.
• Ensures safety of students and school property.

Instructional:

• Instructs students according to schedule.
• Plans customized curriculum catering to individual student needs.

• Encourages high standards of behavior and academic achievement.
• Uses positive behavior interventions.
• Maintains discipline fairly.
