We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for part-time pain management position within a group family practice. Experience with management of chronic pain preferred but not required. Seeking a candidate to work 10 hours/week Monday-Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Prescribing and adjustment of narcotic pain medications to assist in improving chronic pain for our patients
- Performing pill counts and ordering random urine drug screens to discourage prescription misuse/abuse
- Maintaining patient compliance with practice narcotic guidelines
- Understanding and complying with state and federal opiate prescription laws
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
- Active DEA License
Expected hours: 10.0 per week
Work Location: In person
