Senior Project Manager (New Jersey)
Pay: $120,000 - $170,000 per year
Work Location: Hybrid between the office and job sites (Gloucester & Camden counties)
Job description:
Richard E. Pierson Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our division in New Jersey. Areas of work include highway, bridges, utilities, and marine/port work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-site project team to ensure project success
- Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
- Responsible for schedule development and implementation, work planning, and issue identification and resolution
- Responsible for RFI and submittal process
- Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues
- Conduct meetings to successfully identify safety concerns and exposures in adherence with company safety program
- Monitors work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
- Monitors profit and loss statements on a monthly basis and maintains them throughout the project
- Schedules, supervises and attends internal and external pre-construction and post-construction meetings
- Assumes responsibility for all financial aspects of project including collections to ensure maximum profit margins
- Collaborates with client/owner on a regular basis to maintain great relationships
Qualifications:
- Must have 8 years of Project Management experience in the construction industry
- Experience with NJDOT, heavy highway, bridge, or marine work is preferred
- Experience in estimating, operations, or engineering is required
- BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. Continuing education in construction is highly desirable
- FE or PE certification a plus
