Role Description
We are seeking a Dirt/Site Superintendent to oversee and manage operations in our Pennsylvania Region. The Superintendent will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, coordinating work schedules, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing resources to achieve project goals.
Key tasks include supervising grading, excavation, and compaction activities, ensuring project timelines are met, and collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality results. This is an on-site role requiring strong leadership and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in earthwork operations, including grading, excavation, and compaction.
- Leadership and personnel management skills to effectively supervise field teams and provide on-site guidance.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in earthwork or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools is a plus.
- Experience with Pennsylvania DOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike.
