Operations Manager at Sea Monkey: Are you ready to be part of leadership in the Pittsburgh nightlife scene ? The Richard DeShantz Restaurant Group is set to launch Sea Monkey, a high-end lounge, bar, and events space with its signature flair for drinks, food, and guest service in the heart of the Strip District. We will be opening in December. About Us: Sea Monkey and Coop de Ville, with adjoining back of house space, are set to become the destination for nightlife in Pittsburgh. Sea Monkey will be operating Thursday through Saturday evenings when we launch.We'll obviously be featuringn the signature panache for drinks, food, and service that guests have come to expect from our group. Key Responsibilities:-Oversee Sea Monkeyoperations in tandem with Coop's tenured manager team
- Lead and inspire a dedicated bar and FOH team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and elegance
- Ensure a top-notch experience for each and every guest
- Financial responsibility including budgeting, inventory, ordering, reviewing weekly and period reports.
- Ensure all safety and alcohol laws are followed to the tee, and all staff are trained as such
- A passionate hospitality and nightlife professional with a history of executing operations
- An understanding of restaurant finance and budgeting
- Strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team
