Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Biller at our clinic in Oregon, OH. The Medical Biller will handle tasks such as processing insurance claims, managing denials, utilizing ICD-10 coding standards, and ensuring accurate billing for Medicare and other insurance plans. Additional responsibilities include verifying patient information, maintaining billing records, and collaborating with other team members to address billing and insurance issues.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding
- Experience with Insurance processes, including Medicare claims
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues related to claim Denials
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in a medical billing or related healthcare role is required
