Duties
- Prepare and set up concrete forms for pouring.
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and heavy equipment.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various techniques such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing.
- Conduct regular inspections of the work site to maintain safety and cleanliness.
- Installing construction elements such as anchor bolts and steel plates for concrete foundations.
Qualifications
- Experience as a concrete worker or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and heavy equipment related to concrete work.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with drywall installation and metal stud framing is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety regulations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to travel to any state for work.
- Candidates must pass a background check.
