Rich Well Drilling and Pump is a Water Well Drilling and Pump Service Company serving Northern California. We specialize in complete water system solutions, including wells, pumps, storage, and treatment systems. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Well Pump Technician to join our team.
Job Summary
The Experienced Water Well Pump Technician and Drillers Assistant will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of downhole and surface water pumps, motors, and related equipment. This role also includes installing and servicing basic water treatment equipment and working as part of a team to install complete water systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and service downhole and surface water pumps and motors
- Install and service basic water treatment equipment
- Assist in installing complete water systems, including:
- Below- and above-ground infrastructure
- Water storage systems
- Pumps and water treatment equipment
- Operate company vehicles, including pump derricks
- Load, organize, and maintain company work vehicles for daily assignments
- Operate pump truck sand lines
- Use downhole tooling, wrenches, and related equipment
- Hook up to and pull trailers as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Must be insurable
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with trailers
- Forklift experience
- Welding experience
- Experience operating mini-excavators or skid steers
- Familiarity with well service tools and equipment
Work Environment
- Field-based work in varying outdoor conditions
- Physical work involving equipment, tools, and machinery
