Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour

Rich's Car Wash, a family-owned express car wash company with 45 locations across six states, is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing team in our Gulf Coast Market. What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain car wash equipment across multiple locations.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues; specifically looking for root causes of equipment failures using electrical schematics, meters, mechanical troubleshooting, and systematic problem-solving
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Respond to service calls and prioritize repairs based on operational needs.
- Assist with welding, fabrication, facility repairs, and improvement projects.
- Communicate effectively with managers and site teams regarding repairs and equipment performance.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow company safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Experience in maintenance, industrial repair, automotive service, facilities maintenance, manufacturing, HVAC, construction trades, or related fields.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area as needed.
Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus
- Electrical troubleshooting using multimeters and other diagnostic tools
- Motors, contactors, relays, VFDs, and electrical control circuits
- 24V and low-voltage control systems
- Pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Plumbing
- Welding and fabrication
- Preventative maintenance programs
- General construction and facility repair

Physical Requirements
To perform the essential functions of this position, candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Use hands and arms continuously to operate tools, equipment, and repair materials.
- Climb ladders and work at varying heights when necessary.
- Safely operate power tools and maintenance equipment.
- Work around moving mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, rain, and direct sunlight.
- Travel between locations as needed.
