Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process at the front counter.
- Operate POS systems such as SpotOn accurately for order entry and payment processing.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision.
- Prepare food items according to established standards, including basic food preparation and sanitation procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and food prep stations in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling and serving practices.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy environment for guests.
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods, including basic kitchen assistance if needed.
- Ensure quick service delivery while maintaining high-quality customer interactions.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and SpotOn POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
