Job Description

The Pendelton Terminal is seeking a shift scale operator to join their team. The applicant must be trustworthy and a self-starter with good oral and written communication skills.     

Job Duties

•    Working Hours 7am – 3pm Monday – Friday 

•    Overtime and Weekend Work Required as Needed. 

Qualifications

•    Computer skill and able to multi task 

•    Able to Interact and Keep Composure with a variety of Customers, Vendors, Drivers, and      Occasionally Manage Highly Stressful Situations.

•    Believer in Teamwork, Problem Solving, Creativity and Strong Work Ethics.

Responsibilities

•    Responsible for Operating Truck Scale Ensuring that all Inbound and Outbound Trucks are Weighed and Moved through Scale in a Timely Manner.

•    Maintain Scaling Documentation by Collecting, Reviewing, and Verifying Tickets/Paperwork.

•    Answer and Direct Phone Calls.

•    Filing and Organization of Documents as needed.

•    Maintaining a Clean Environment of Office and Scale Area by Vacuuming and Mopping floors, Cleaning and Stocking Restrooms, Collecting and Disposing of Trash, Cleaning Furniture…etc.

•    Any Other Duties Assigned by Management.

Education Requirements

•    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
