Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload shipments
- Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate data entry records for shipping & receiving, order picking, and stock movements
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing products efficiently and ensuring proper stocking procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards promptly
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management software
- Certification in forklift operation with a strong understanding of safety protocols
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms, and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance, and e-commerce logistics processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Familiarity with RF scanners, pallet jacks, load & unload procedures, and stocking techniques
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a customer service mindset to support internal teams and external partners
