What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Delivery Driver (Frederick) position at Rice Tire?
Rice Tire is accepting applications for a CDL Class A Delivery Driver!
The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up and delivering loose tire, mounted tires, tracks, wheels and poly filled assemblies from surrounding locations and writing up casings into Gtracs; this position will also include dropping and hooking trailers at various locations when as required; candidate must be able to drive 26' box trucks as well as tractor trailers as needed. Normal Start time is 6am but could vary, must be able to start at 3am if needed. Daily pre-trips are required on all vehicles to include trailers.
Schedule: Monday through Friday with an occasional weekend day.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have valid CDL Class A driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy loads up to 75-100 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Must possess a valid DOT medical card or be able to become medically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
Desired Qualifications:
- Safety conscious, respectful, honest, strong work ethic, and enjoys being part of a team.
- Knowledge of various tire sizes and shop equipment
Pay Range: $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Overtime
