Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and psychosocial assessments for clients of all ages.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate client strengths, needs, and goals.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
- Support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities by implementing specialized intervention strategies.
- Support individuals from underserved communities by addressing cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic barriers to care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations, to coordinate comprehensive support services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with licensing standards and confidentiality regulations.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to support underserved populations through culturally competent care practices.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, including first aid and CPR certification.
- Prior experience providing mental health services in community or outpatient settings is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of best practices for supporting individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
